Looking for that perfect event for the whole family? How about cutting your own Christmas tree in the Mt. Hood National Forest. Permits are only $5.00 and for an economic weekend event, this is a great activity to enjoy on Mt. Hood. Permits may be purchased at the Zig Zag Ranger Station or the Hoodland Thriftway. All details on where to find trees and to collect boughs are listed below.
Looking for an adventure this weekend? Snow will be falling on the mountain and it's the perfect fall weekend to come for a fun event at the Resort at the Mountain in Welches. This is the 22nd Annual event! Details are here:
Here are the sales for October on the mountain from Government Camp, Welches, Brightwood and Rhododendron. A total of 13 sales for the month brought an excellent month of activity. Believe it or not, FIVE Mt Hood National Forest cabins sold this month, the most for the entire year. Only one foreclosure in the bunch, although more are coming on the market! The balance of the properties were spread out over all four areas including one sale in Government Camp and one in Timberline Rim. I suspect November numbers will be comparable. Activity and historically record breaking interest rates present THE BEST buying opportunity in our lifetime! Make this the ultimate time to make your Mt. Hood real estate purchase!
Snow is flying and the areas are gearing up for opening day! Great opportunity for buyers who are looking for a good deal on a Collins Lake foreclosure in Government Camp. This one has just been reduced to $199,900!
Keep in mind that foreclosures are sold in "as is" condition and the monthly fees are currently at $450, it's still a great place for convenience if you are a skier and don't want to drive!
