SANDY MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND!

Today is the start of the fun activities of the Sandy Mountain Festival. Carnival rides, art and craft booths, music, food and all your neighbors will be attending for the next two days!

Dates & Hours: 2016

Saturday, July 8th - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 9th - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Pet Policy:

There are NO pets of any kind allowed in the park during the festival.

Parking and Transportation:

The City of Sandy will operate the SAM bus service during the Sandy Mountain Festival and both SAM and MHX services will be free.

Parking is available throughout town. Watch for no parking signs and parking time limits.

Directions to Meinig Park:
(Festival Grounds)

Sandy, Oregon is located at the base of Mt. Hood about 30 miles east of Portland. Head east to Mt. Hood on US HWY 26 and you will drive directly through Sandy. Meinig Memorial Park is located directly behind City Hall just past the past the intersection of Hwy 211on the right hand side of the street.

If you're looking for a fun time this weekend, the 44th Sandy Mountain Festival is the place to be. Fun, music, food booths, entertainment, artists, crafts, carnival games, and rides are in the city of Sandy and at Meinig Memorial Park. 

                            Saturday, July 9th - 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
                            Sunday, July 10th - 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Sandy Mountain Festival 2015

JULY 11th and12th!

One of the Mt. Hood areas mountain favorite events during summer is the Sandy Mountain Festival. This year marks the 43rd year of this summer festival. The local parade starts at 7:00 pm on July 9th. Horses, cars, floats, marchers, music and the 5 generation Sandy court . Plus Bear and Mountain Man will all be there too! 

Booths filled with crafts and food will open this weekend from 10-8 on Saturday and 10-6 on Sunday. Carnival rides for kids is a big feature too. The festival has live music and delicious food  at Meining Park. Over 120 local artists are participating during the festival from painters, jewelers, potters and more! 

This is a great fund raising event for this weekend!

Sandy Mountain Festival This Weekend

The Sandy Mountain Days are this weekend on Saturday from 10 to 8 and Sunday 10 to 6. The festival grounds are at Meinig Park. Carnival rides are in the center of town. Walk the festival for artist displays, food and fun.  Details on Sandy Mountain Days and Directions.

BIG local community event, the Sandy Mountain Festival, is this weekend!

The parade is this evening at 7:00 PM. This parade typically draws over  5,000 people to the event.

Local craftsmen, artists, musicians, carnival rides and great food are featured over the weekend!
